Quick answer
Chennai's project-center market is the most review-dense in India — three Vadapalani/T. Nagar outfits each hold 4.9 stars across hundreds of JustDial ratings. Maasmind leads on sheer review volume (4.9★, ~1,321 ratings), Techpower Solutions is the most project-specific pick (4.9★, ~636 ratings, verified), and Qriocity matches them on score (4.9★, 758). For online-first browsing, Projectech lists ~1,150 topics with published price minimums. Details and trade-offs below.
How we picked these five
Same bar as our other state roundups: verifiable presence (real address or long-running JustDial listing), visible third-party ratings, an actual website or storefront. Ratings are JustDial snapshots from October 2026 — they drift, so treat them as indicative. We include Projectech (our own service) on merit, not as an automatic winner, and we label self-reported claims as such.
1. Maasmind — T. Nagar, Chennai — highest review volume
4.9 stars across roughly 1,321 JustDial ratings (checked October 2026) — the largest review base of any project center we found in Tamil Nadu. Located on Duraisamy Road, T. Nagar, operating as a computer training institute with project work for students. When over a thousand reviewers converge near 5 stars, it's a strong signal, though you should still read a page of the actual reviews: volume cuts both ways, and training institutes sometimes bundle project sales with course upsells — ask what the project fee covers separately.
Pricing transparency: on enquiry. Best for: students who want the single strongest social-proof signal in the state. Trade-off: it's a training institute first; confirm the project build (not just guidance) is what's on offer.
2. Techpower Solutions — Vadapalani, Chennai — most project-specific
4.9 stars across ~636 ratings (JustDial listing, checked October 2026), JustDial-verified, listed explicitly under "Engineering Project Centres" and "Education Consultants" at 100 Feet Road, Vadapalani — and the listing notes it responds within about 3 hours with 100+ recent enquiries. Unlike general training institutes, this one is categorized as a project center first, which matches what a final-year student is actually buying.
Pricing transparency: on enquiry. Best for: students who want a dedicated project center rather than a training institute that also does projects. Trade-off: premium positioning tends to mean premium quotes — get it in writing.
3. Qriocity — Choolaimedu, Chennai — strong all-rounder
4.9 stars across ~761 JustDial ratings (checked October 2026) at Elango Adigal Street, Choolaimedu, listed for project work for students. A comparable review profile to the two above with a slightly smaller base. Worth including because three independent high-rated options in one city is unusual — Chennai genuinely has depth here.
Pricing transparency: on enquiry. Best for: a second or third quote to compare against Maasmind or Techpower. Trade-off: less category clarity than Techpower (listed under general project work).
4. Aislyn Technologies — Trichy + Coimbatore (online) — the branch-query winner
Aislyn's city×branch pages ("Top IoT Projects in Trichy" style) currently rank #1–2 for queries like "iot projects for ece" — they're the reason this format is on every SEO watchlist right now. Contact: +91 97395 94609, info@aislyn.in. Their site claims 1,000+ projects delivered (self-reported) across all branches with IEEE and real-time builds.
Pricing transparency: not published. Best for: ECE/EEE students who found them through a branch-specific search and want to continue the conversation. Trade-off: templated city pages; verify on a call. Coimbatore students can also check Projectech's city page to compare topics first.
5. Projectech — Chennai + Coimbatore city pages, online — best for browsing before you buy
Our own service, stated plainly. Around 1,150 project topics across 8 branches, each with problem statement, how-it-works, specs, FAQs and limitations — browsable before you spend anything. Built to order, quotation-based, with published minimums: ₹6,000 software, ₹13,000 hardware/hybrid. City pages for Chennai and Coimbatore carry local college information.
The honest limitation: no third-party reviews as of October 2026 — no Google or JustDial rating. If independent social proof is your deciding factor, the Chennai options above win. Best for: students who want to compare a thousand-plus topics online and know the price floor before enquiring.

How to choose, in practice
- Chennai has unusual depth — use it. Get quotes from two of the three 4.9★ options and compare what's included, not just the price.
- Coimbatore students: your local walk-in options are thinner; Aislyn's Coimbatore coverage and Projectech's Coimbatore city page are the practical starting points, with Chennai a bus ride away if you want a physical visit.
- Ask every center the same four questions: what's included (report? PPT? viva prep?), exact delivery date, built-for-you vs resold, and what happens if it doesn't work at demo.
- On "IEEE projects": it usually means "based on an IEEE paper." Ask which one.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a final year project cost in Tamil Nadu?
Centers quote after enquiry. Reference floors: Projectech publishes ₹6,000 (software) and ₹13,000 (hardware/hybrid) minimums. Ameerpet-style Hyderabad pricing (₹6,000–₹10,000 per unit seen on JustDial listings there) suggests the south-India band is similar.
Is it better to go to Chennai in person?
If you're in or near Chennai, yes — the concentration of highly-rated centers means you can visit two or three in a day. From Coimbatore or Trichy, start online and visit only your shortlisted one.
Do these centers provide documentation?
Most bundle report + PPT; confirm before paying. It's the most common post-payment dispute, so get it in the quote.
Can I get a project in 2–3 weeks?
Many centers promise fast delivery. Faster than ~3 weeks for hardware usually means a resold build, not a fresh one — ask directly.
